PVAPins FAQs

Last updated: January 2026

If you've ever hit "Send code" and then… nothing happened, you're not alone. Most questions we get are about OTP delivery, number types, and what to use when an app blocks a number.

PVAPins FAQs

1) Getting started

PVAPins lets you receive SMS online using temporary or rental numbers (and free public inbox numbers for basic testing). People use it for account verification, one-time signups, and privacy-friendly testing.
Pick a route that matches your goal:
• Free numbers (public inbox): best for quick testing, not guaranteed
• Temporary/one-time: best for single verification
• Rental: best for re-logins, 2FA, and account recovery
Start here: https://pvapins.com/free-numbers or https://pvapins.com/rent
For free inbox testing, you can often browse first. For paid routes (temporary/Rental), you'll typically need an account to manage numbers and access the inbox.

2) Free numbers (public inbox)

Free numbers are public inbox numbers. That means multiple people may view the same inbox, and apps can block them quickly due to heavy reuse. Use them for quick tests, not long-term accounts.
Try them here: https://pvapins.com/free-numbers
Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Popular apps flag reused public inbox numbers fast. If you care about keeping the account, skip free and go rental: https://pvapins.com/rent.
Not recommended. Public inbox numbers are shared and reused, so they're not a safe choice for anything you might need later.

3) Temporary vs Rental (the part that fixes confusion)

• Temporary (one-time): best for a single verification you don't need again
• Rental: you keep access for longer, so it's better for re-verification, 2FA, and recovery
If the account matters, Rental is the safer option: https://pvapins.com/rent
It depends on the route:
• Free inbox: unreliable because it's public and constantly reused
• Temporary: often intended for one-time verification
• Rental: usually best if you expect multiple OTPs (logins, re-checks, recovery) during the rental period
Choose Rental. If an app asks for verification again later, rentals make that far less painful.

4) OTP issues & fixes

Most common reasons:
• The number was reused/flagged (very common on public inbox routes)
• You hit a rate limit by spamming resend ("try again later", "too many attempts")
• The app only sends to certain routes/regions
• Network congestion or delayed delivery
Try this simple sequence:
• Wait 30–60 seconds and refresh the inbox
• Don't spam resend — that triggers cooldowns
• Switch to a different number/route
• If the account matters: switch to Rental for better stability
Start: https://pvapins.com/rent
That's a cooldown triggered by rapid resends or repeated attempts. Pause, wait a few minutes, then try again with a different number/route.
Usually, the app has already seen that number too many times (or it's blocked due to reuse). Your best move is to switch the number or use a more stable route like rentals.
Yes. Many apps reject numbers if:
• You add extra spaces/dashes
• You include a local "0" prefix when the form expects an international format
• Best practice: always use +CountryCode format exactly as shown on the PVAPins page.

5) Billing & payments

PVAPins supports multiple payment options (availability can vary by region), including:
Crypto Payment, Binance Pay, Payeer, GCash, AmanPay, QIWI Wallet, DOKU, Nigeria Credit/Debit Card, South Africa Credit/Debit Card, Skrill, Payoneer
Pricing depends on country, service, and route type (free/temporary/rental). Availability can change fast during peak demand.
If something doesn't work as expected, contact support with your order details and the issue you hit. The team will review and help based on the route and usage.

6) API

Yes — PVAPins offers API access for supported routes/services.
API page: https://pvapins.com/api
If you have steady volume needs, reach out through support and share:
• country + service (example: USA + Facebook)
• expected daily volume
• Whether you need temporary or rental access

7) Privacy, safety & compliance

In most places, using online numbers for legitimate purposes is allowed — but you must follow:
• the app/service terms you're verifying
• local laws and regulations
• We don't encourage misuse.
Free numbers are public inbox numbers. If privacy matters, use private routes/rentals instead: https://pvapins.com/rent.
No service can guarantee acceptance because apps decide what numbers they accept. We can provide different routes and options so you can switch quickly if a path is blocked.

8) Support

Use the contact page and include:
• country + service
• route type (free/temporary/rental)
• timestamp + screenshot (if possible)
Contact: https://pvapins.com/contact
The fastest tickets include:
• the exact error message (ex, "try again later")
• the service/app name
• the route you used
• whether it's signup, login, or recovery verification
